Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory is a partially handicap-accessible facility with a variety of services including wheelchair accommodations, accessible parking, and building access to all venues and most public areas. For general information on accessibility, please contact us.

Entrances
The entrances to the Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory offices, library, residence, and back patio are fully accessible.

Elevators
Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory is a 1953 building. There are no elevators to access the 2nd floor, where the Seyfert Telescope is located. There are twenty steps leading to the second floor of the observatory with a landing at the halfway point.

Restrooms
A handicap-accessible restroom is located in the main hall of the observatory, and a handicap-accessible restroom is also located in the residence.
