Dyer Observers
The Dyer Observers program was established under in 2009. Promising students are engaged to go further in exploring science careers. Dyer Observers enjoy two or more evenings of telescope observation activities per year for participating students. Through developing social media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook, the Observers Program maintains contact with students by feeding timely information about available astronomical activities. The Dyer Observers are an interface for promising students who are considering a science career and local scientists provide insight and encouragement. The Dyer Observers program further engages former camp students to be involved in ongoing workshops, talks, and volunteer opportunities at the observatory. Please contact the observatory for additional information.
