Dyer Observatory News

Middle Tennessee farmland once fed Nashville, and it will again. As a peak year-end event fostering this change, the Tennessee Local Food Summit December 5-7, 2014 will be held at Vanderbilt University.  Sponsored by Vanderbilt Health and Wellness, it will feature Nashville’s best chefs offering delicious, locally grown organic meals during a full day of educational workshops, networking, and the celebration of another great growing season.

The kickoff for the 4th annual conference will begin at Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory on Friday, December 5th with a reception, home-grown, chef-prepared dinner, and music by Beth Nielsen Chapman and Will Kimbrough.  More information can be found at Tennessee Local Food Summit website and tickets can be purchased here.
