April 2020 marked the 50th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 13. Astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise, and Jack Swigert were expecting to be the third American landing party on the Moon, but nearly 56 hours into their outbound journey, an oxygen tank exploded, putting the crew in jeopardy. It was at that moment Jack Swigert uttered the famous words, “Houston, we’ve had a problem.” Their story of pluck, ingenuity, and survival on their return to Earth is still one of the greatest stories ever told.
